Boston Kids App

FamilyiTrips.com has launched a new app for touring Boston with kids.

“Created by award-winning travel journalists and packed with more than 150 family-friendly entries, Boston With Kids puts the best places to be and things to do with kids of all ages right at your fingertips.  You’ll learn how to explore the city by moonlight, the best places to stay with pets, and get the inside scoop on Boston’s big celebrations.”

Plans are to release similar apps for New England, New York City and Virginia by June 1.

The Scoop is a collection of restaurant, shopping and entertainment tips  from the staff of the New York Times.

The site can be searched alphabetically, by category or geographically. Online comments are welcome, and the app is free.
